Personality:

Grand is a rather quiet and unfazed seeming pony. He comes off as a bit aloof, but relaxed, his like not to speak adding an air of mystery that makes him popular with many of his fans. However, what a lot of Grand Finale's thunderous mare fanbase don't know, is that when he does open his mouth, it's to spout brutal honesty or something rude. He sees little point in lying or sugarcoating things and prefers to get straight to the heart of problems or the like.

He keeps to himself or a small group of ponies, often hanging around the band home in Canterlot, though he sometimes takes retreats to his small apartment in Manehatten. He finds the noise and bustle of Manehatten surprisingly calming, treating the other ponies almost as if they weren't even there. He likes little known or secluded places the best, especially ones isolated from media where he isn't as popular and won't be swarmed by fanmares cooing and shouting for his attention.

As for his fans - primarily composed of mares as stated prior - Grand Finale does appreciate them, but not the romantic intentions from some of them. This is due to the fact he has little interest in romantic relationships to start unless it seems particularly special and is not interested in mares at all. He doesn't talk about it much, one of few things where his honesty doesn't show, due to chats with a previous band manager stating that his being gay might 'hurt his popularity'. He doesn't feel ashamed for his disinterest and preference, however, and if 'outed' would likely go about his life as normal. His friends and family generally already know how he is and rightfully don't see it anything wrong.

O Grand's mother Inky Rose is often responsible for the more dark-themed costumes for Pony Pop, as well as many of his everyday clothing.
