4. Dark

He ducked into the shadowy stone alcover, casting his orange-tinted gaze around for anyone who might have seen him. Seeing no one, he lifted his rifle from the open-ended holster on his back and flipped the scope open. He leveled his view with the scope and peered ahead of him.

A flicker of blue caught his glance and he closed one eye and prepared to fire, finger poised on the trigger.


The latest addition to my attempt at the 100 Theme Challenge featuring TF2's RED Sniper. This is number 4 in the list, Dark. I've had this one in mind since I looked at the theme list, but wasn't sure if I could pull it off right.

Despite the fact that foreshortening the sniper rifle is a bitch, this actually turned out pretty good and I like it. I hope you looking at this do, too.
